All About T.A.P.
We at T.A.P would like to take this opportunity to welcome amateur pool players of all skill levels, to an exciting new league starting in Ontario, Canada.
Founded in 1994 by league President Loyd Schonter, this pool league is now considered to be the fastest growing league in North America.
Our motto is not necessarily to be the biggest, but to be the BEST!
Handicap system equal to none
. Weekly handicaps are computed using some eighty computations at the headquarters of T.A.P. based in Virginia, to give the fairest handicap possible. Tabulated using your completed shots, missed shots, balls made on the break, safeties, and the number of balls left on the table after your game, not to mention that all calculations are done on one main computer instead of by individual league operators across the country, we believe this makes for a much more accurate handicap. For a full explanation of our Handicap system, click here.
T.A.P. goes to Nationals
Unbelievably, for every sixteen teams averaged in your area per session, per year we send one team to Nationals in November with Airfare and accommodations provided. (In 2008, Nationals will be held in beautiful Orlando, Florida) Competing for a first place prize of $10,000 American (cash not prizes). We are so confident in our handicap system that at all major events the handicap you arrive with is what you stay with for the entire tournament. This is the same for all TAP events.
