T.A.P. Canada offers billiard players the optimum league format for all skill levels. The Canadian league currently has divisions in Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Fergus, Elora, Orangeville, Walkerton, Kincardine, Mount Forest and Saugeen Shores.

The Association for P.O.O.L. (T.A.P) is a National organization offering one of the most accurate league handicap scoring systems available, and a "call pocket," "no slop," 8 or 9-ball format.  In addition, players have the opportunity to play in the Nationals each year, in October (flight & accommodations paid).  This is a "traveling" National event.  For 2005 - 2006 our Nationals were held in Louisville, Kentucky. For 2007 - 2008 our Nationals will be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Players can also qualify for our provincial tournaments held 3 times per year. In 2007 over $20,000 was won by TAP players.

All Players Welcome!

  • Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced

  • 5 players Minimum--8 Players Maximum Per Team

  • Men & Women

  • Training provided on rules and scoring

  • Low cost: $25 per year membership (includes three sessions)

  • A low fee of $8 on league night. This covers your play in league and your practice for the night 

  • 14 - 16 week sessions plus playoffs

  • Tournaments:  Singles & Team events

  • Money Payback (Provincial 3 times per year, over $20,000 was won by TAP players in 2007)

  • Trophies to top teams and top MVPs

  • Paid trips to our National Event in Myrtle Beach

How to Sign Up

Step #1  Assemble 5 to 8 players for a team(Team Registration Form), if your assembling a team make sure to check out the Captain's Checklist. Or, join by yourself, there are always teams in need of a player(Individual Registration Form)
Step #2  Decide where you would like to play
Step #3  Collect $25 annual membership from each player
